In a remarkable feat of engineering innovation, a floating bridge has captured the attention of tourists near the city of Xinjiang, China. Spanning half a kilometer between steep hills, the bridge, known as the ‘Shijiguan Water Highway’, offers a breathtaking experience for travelers.

Unlike conventional bridges, this structure sits directly atop the river, providing a pathway for cars and small vehicles. The bridge, measuring four and a half meters wide, navigates the waters of a river with depths exceeding 60 meters, akin to the height of a 15-story building.

Traveling on this unique bridge is not for the faint-hearted. Drivers must navigate carefully, feeling as though they are driving directly on the water’s surface. Waves create an illusion of floating, requiring vehicles to maintain a steady speed and distance of 100 meters between each other.

Despite the challenges, tourists flock to experience this one-of-a-kind attraction, drawn by its novelty and stunning surroundings. Recently, videos shared on social media platforms such as Twitter have catapulted the bridge to viral fame, further boosting its popularity among adventurers seeking extraordinary experiences.
