“Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) made a significant breakthrough in their crackdown on illegal activities by seizing gold jewelry and silver valued at a staggering 23 crores. The operation unfolded during routine vehicle inspections jointly conducted by SOT Madapur Police and RGI Police. Two vehicles caught the authorities’ attention, leading to the discovery of 34.78 kg of gold jewelry and 43.60 kg of silver being transported without the requisite documentation.

Following protocol, the confiscated goods were promptly escorted to the RGI Police Station. To ensure a thorough investigation, the Forensic Science Team was summoned to examine the seized items. Concurrently, the Income Tax Department launched its own inquiry into the matter, highlighting the potential implications of financial irregularities.

Preliminary inquiries shed light on the logistics involved, indicating the involvement of Naplog Logistic, Marudhar Express, and Maa Bhavaani Logistic services. These entities were reportedly responsible for ferrying the contraband from Mumbai to Hyderabad via GMR Domestic Air Cargo.

The revelation of such a large-scale operation underscores the ongoing efforts to curb illegal trafficking and financial improprieties within the region. Authorities remain vigilant in their pursuit of justice and will continue to collaborate across agencies to uphold the rule of law.”
