
Global Microsoft Windows Outage Causes Widespread Disruptions
Microsoft Windows users around the world are experiencing the notorious Blue Screen of Death errors, causing their devices to get stuck in a restart loop. Many affected users have reported the issue on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter).
The outage has also impacted several organizations, including the low-cost airline Frontier, which had to cancel some flights in the US. The airline stated, “Our systems are currently impacted by a Microsoft outage, which is also affecting other companies.”
In response to the issue, Microsoft 365 Status posted on X, “We are investigating an issue impacting users’ ability to access various Microsoft 365 apps and services.” They added, “We’re working on rerouting the impacted traffic to alternate systems to alleviate the impact more expediently. We remain focused on redirecting the impacted traffic to healthy systems.”
The company is actively working to resolve the outage and restore normal functionality as soon as possible.
