Government of Telangana Announces IAS Transfers and Postings
Telangana, August 3, 2024 – The Government of Telangana has issued orders for the transfers and postings of IAS officers. These changes, outlined in G.O.Rt.No.1052 from the General Administration (SPL-A) Department, come into effect immediately.
The following transfers and postings have been notified:
- Sri Vikas Raj, IAS (1992), previously Special Chief Secretary to Government, Transport, Housing & General Administration (Coordination with Government of India and Smart Governance) Department, has been re-designated as Special Chief Secretary to Government, TR & B Department.
- Dr. T.K. Sreedevi, IAS (2004), Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Scheduled Caste Development, relieving Sri N. Sridhar, IAS (1997) of additional charge of the said post.
- Sri Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (1999), Principal Secretary to Government, Commercial Taxes & Excise Department, is given full additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, until further orders.
- Sri S. Harish, IAS (2015), Joint Secretary to Government, TR & B Department, is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to Government, Revenue (Disaster Management) Department. He will also hold the full additional charge of the post of Joint Secretary to Government, TR & B Department (Land Acquisition for RRR Project).
- Sri P. Uday Kumar, IAS (2016), Joint Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Cooperation Department, is given full additional charge of the post of Director, Marketing.
- Smt. Chekka Priyanka, IAS (2018), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Suryapet, is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department.
- Sri K. Chandrashekar Reddy, Joint Registrar, Cooperation Department, is transferred and posted as Managing Director, HACA Limited, Hyderabad.
- Sri Srinivas Reddy, Joint Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Warangal, is transferred and posted as Managing Director, Markfed, replacing Sri Satyanarayana Reddy, who is transferred.
The orders have been issued in the name of the Governor of Telangana by Santhi Kumari, Chief Secretary to Government.
