Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Encourages Investment in Telangana at New Jersey Expatriate Event
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy called upon expatriates from the Telugu states to invest in Telangana, emphasizing the mutual benefits and satisfaction that come from contributing to their homeland’s development. Addressing a large gathering in New Jersey, Reddy highlighted his administration’s commitment to delivering on promises and fostering economic growth.
“Telangana is your birthplace, and every investment you make here will benefit you and the region. Sharing in the development of our homeland brings unparalleled satisfaction,” Reddy stated.

Reflecting on his previous visit to the United States as the president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), Reddy noted, “Last year, I promised to return only after liberating Telangana from decades of misrule. I have kept my word.”
Reddy outlined numerous welfare initiatives already in place, including a ₹2 lakh loan waiver for farmers, input subsidies, jobs for the unemployed, free bus travel for women, ₹500 cooking gas cylinders, 200 units of free household electricity for the poor, teacher promotions, and quality education. He assured that these are just the beginning, with more plans on the horizon.
Addressing concerns and misconceptions about his administration, Reddy announced a new industrial policy aimed at rapid, inclusive economic growth, prioritizing both fundraising and skill development.

“There was malicious propaganda against us before the elections. Critics doubted our victory and sustainability. Now they falsely claim that the state’s development is slowing down. We have proven them wrong and will continue to do so. We aim to develop Hyderabad into a leading global city,” the Chief Minister declared.
Reddy praised the contributions of expatriates to America’s prosperity and invited them to extend their services to Telangana. He revealed plans for developing Future City, a fourth urban hub alongside Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad, with a world-class master plan.

Expatriates lauded Reddy’s efforts to fulfill promises and supported his vision for Hyderabad’s development. Mohinder Singh Giljian, President of the Overseas Congress Party, expressed his delight at seeing Reddy as Chief Minister and urged efforts to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister of India. He envisioned Telangana becoming a stronghold in software, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, healthcare, and artificial intelligence.
The event also featured cultural performances by children, showcasing the rich heritage of Telangana.
