Hyderabad’s Potential as a Global Tech Hub Highlighted at Dallas IT Serve Alliance Meet

Dallas, Texas – August 8, 2024

In a significant push to attract investments from the Indian tech diaspora in the United States, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Industries, Commerce, and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu made a compelling case for Hyderabad and Telangana at the IT Serve Alliance meet in Dallas, Texas. The event, known as the largest gathering of IT services organizations in the U.S., provided a platform for the leaders to present Hyderabad’s evolving landscape as a prime investment destination.

Addressing the audience, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized the transformation of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad over the years, and called for collective efforts to create a “Future City.” He urged the diaspora to seize the opportunity by investing in Hyderabad, positioning it as a forward-looking decision with long-term benefits. “We have built Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad over the years. Now, let us all join in making a world-class fourth city, the Future City. When you invest in Hyderabad now, you are clearly investing in the future,” CM Revanth stated.

Minister Sridhar Babu elaborated on the strategic projects underpinning this vision, including the development of the Future City, the expansion of the Metro system, and the River Musi rejuvenation project. He highlighted Hyderabad’s ambition to become a hub for future technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) while maintaining a Net Zero environmental impact. “This will be an urban construct of truly global standards and processes,” the minister explained.

He also outlined the state’s balanced approach to economic growth, which includes fostering the service sector in Tier-II towns and enhancing manufacturing capacities. The minister further reinforced CM Revanth Reddy’s vision of transforming Telangana into a $1 trillion economy within the next decade, urging collaboration to achieve this ambitious goal.

The IT Serve Alliance, often regarded as the “voice of all prestigious IT companies with similar interests across the United States,” extended an invitation to CM Revanth Reddy for their flagship event later this year in Las Vegas. The event has historically attracted global leaders, including former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and business icon Steve Forbes.

The leaders’ participation in the Dallas meet reflects Telangana’s strong commitment to engaging with the global tech community and positioning Hyderabad as a world-class investment destination.
