JP Nadda Criticizes Congress Government, Expresses Confidence in BJP’s Victory in Telangana
Hyderabad, December 07,2024: BJP National President JP Nadda launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, accusing it of failing to fulfill election promises and deceiving the people of Telangana. Speaking at a BJP public meeting in Saroor Nagar, Hyderabad, on Saturday, Nadda claimed that the Congress government had misled the public and was now facing widespread opposition for its unfulfilled promises.
Nadda criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, calling him a deceiver and mocking the Congress leadership for their false assurances. “CM Revanth Reddy is making deceitful statements. This government is a ‘Maya Sarkar’ – a government that throws dust in the eyes of the people. They promised a Rs. 2 lakh loan waiver, Rs. 15,000 for farmers, Rs. 12,000 for tenant farmers and farm laborers, and Rs. 12,000 for auto drivers. They also promised education guarantee cards, Rs. 2,500 for women, Rs. 1 lakh under Kalyana Lakshmi, and gold worth a certain amount. Where are these promises? What happened to the compensation they promised for the unemployed?” Nadda asked.
Referring to the Congress party as a “parasite,” Nadda claimed that the party relied on regional parties to come to power in several states but had failed to win on its own against the BJP. “The Congress party is dependent on regional parties everywhere. It joins forces with them and drags them down. The weakness of regional parties is the strength of Congress. The Congress has failed to fulfill its promises in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana,” he added. Nadda also pointed out that Congress had not won in states like Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar for several decades and predicted a similar fate in Telangana.
Nadda expressed confidence that change in Telangana could only come with the BJP. He emphasized that the Congress government had failed to address the concerns of farmers, women, youth, and workers. “The BJP will stand by these people, fight for their rights, and ensure their development. The results of the recent Lok Sabha elections prove that the BJP will win in Telangana. We are confident that the BJP will form the next government here,” he asserted.
Further, Nadda criticized the Congress for running the state by taking loans and revealed that the central government had provided significant financial assistance to Telangana. “The central government has given Rs. 1.60 lakh crore to Telangana, including Rs. 1.12 lakh crore in various grants. We’ve also allocated Rs. 27 crore to Warangal, Rs. 20 crore to the textiles and railways sectors, three Vande Bharat trains, and key infrastructure projects such as the Hyderabad-Indore, Surat-Chennai-Hyderabad, and Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridors. BJP will fulfill even the promises it didn’t make, while Congress has failed to implement the ones it promised,” he concluded.
Nadda’s remarks further reinforced his belief that the BJP is the future of Telangana and will soon emerge victorious in the state’s upcoming elections.
