KTR Ridicules Congress, Challenges Revanth Reddy and Farm Loan Waiver Claims
BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) strongly criticized Telangana Congress and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during a meeting with BRS leaders from the Kodangal constituency at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad.
KTR questioned Revanth Reddy’s leadership capabilities, stating,
“How can someone who can’t manage BRS’s social media team challenge former Chief Minister KCR?”
He accused Congress of making false promises to seize power and filing illegal cases against those who oppose them.
Farm Loan Waiver Challenge
In a bold statement, KTR challenged the Congress to substantiate its claim of a 100% farm loan waiver. He declared,
“If the claim is true, I will retire from politics.”
According to KTR, loans exceeding ₹12,000 crore remain unpaid despite Congress’s assurances.
Arrests and Farmer Protests
Addressing the arrest of former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy and several farmers in the Lagacharla incident, KTR highlighted their 35-day detention as unjustified. He expressed confidence in the farmers’ resolve, saying they would hold Congress accountable in the upcoming Panchayat and Zilla Parishad elections.
Kodangal Residents Regret Voting for Congress
KTR claimed that the people of Kodangal regret voting for Revanth Reddy, stating that no one is satisfied with Congress’s governance during its one year in power in Telangana.
As political tensions rise in Telangana, KTR’s remarks signal a robust campaign by the BRS to challenge Congress’s credibility and leadership in the state.
