K.T. Rama Rao Summoned by ACB in Formula E Racing Agreement Probe

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has issued notices to K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), former minister and BRS Working President, to appear for questioning in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Formula E Racing case. KTR has been asked to appear before the ACB on January 6, Monday, at 10 a.m.

The case revolves around an agreement signed between the Telangana Municipal Department and Formula E Operations Limited during the BRS government’s tenure. Alleged irregularities in the execution of this agreement have prompted a detailed investigation.

In recent developments, the ACB has conducted extensive interrogations with officials involved in the agreement, including a seven-hour questioning session with Danam Kishore, Principal Secretary of the Municipal Administration Department. Kishore’s statements and evidence have reportedly provided crucial leads, culminating in the issuance of notices to KTR.

According to initial findings, the ACB suspects significant violations in the agreement based on the data gathered from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) department. Investigators are likely to summon additional individuals connected to the case as part of the ongoing probe.

This high-profile investigation has drawn public attention due to its implications for governance and transparency in major international collaborations. ACB officials have assured that the inquiry will be thorough and impartial, ensuring accountability at all levels.

Stay tuned for updates on this developing story as further details emerge.
