MHOW, MADHYA PRADESH: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, speaking at a Congress rally in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birthplace, Mhow, launched a scathing attack on the BJP, accusing it of undermining the Indian Constitution and reservation system. The rally, attended by senior Congress leaders and over one lakh party workers, marked the launch of the nationwide campaign, ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan,’ aimed at celebrating the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Ambedkar, and the Constitution.

Reddy alleged that the BJP is conspiring to alter the Constitution for its political agenda. “The BJP has consistently mocked the Constitution and is attempting to remove reservations. They aspire to impose their version of the Constitution, but we will not let that happen,” he declared.

Accompanied by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee leaders and his cabinet ministers, Reddy reaffirmed Congress’s commitment to safeguarding the foundational values of the nation. “We stand strong to defend the ideals of Dr. Ambedkar and the rights of marginalized communities,” he added.

Nationwide Campaign Launch

The rally was led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, who officially launched the ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan’ campaign. Addressing the massive gathering, Gandhi emphasized the importance of preserving democratic values and countering BJP’s alleged attempts to dilute them.

“This campaign is a celebration of our constitutional legacy and a united stand against those who seek to undermine it,” Gandhi said.

Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari highlighted the enthusiasm among Congress workers, describing the event as a historic display of the party’s strength and commitment.

“From Ambedkar’s birthplace, we raise our voices against insults to his legacy. This rally is our declaration to fight against any injustice and preserve the Constitution,” Patwari stated.

A Historic Show of Strength

With over one lakh Congress workers and members of the AICC Working Committee participating, the rally was hailed as a powerful demonstration of the party’s determination. Leaders vowed to resist any attempts to dilute the principles of the Constitution and reaffirmed their dedication to protecting democratic values.

The event underscored Congress’s strategy to leverage the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi in countering the BJP and consolidating support among marginalized communities.
