
Hyderabad, February 20, 2025
In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Telangana government has transferred eight IAS officers to new positions. Transport Commissioner K. Surendra Mohan has been assigned additional responsibilities as the Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, as well as Director of Marketing, relieving P. Uday Kumar from these roles.
R.V. Karnan, Director of Health and Family Welfare, will now also serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Aarogyasri, replacing Siva Sankar Lotheti, who has been directed to report to the General Administration Department.
K. Haritha, previously Joint Secretary in the Finance Department, has been appointed as Director of Commercial Taxes, relieving Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi from additional charge of the position.

S.K. Yasmeen Basha, Director of Horticulture and Sericulture, has been given additional charge as Managing Director of the Telangana Seeds Development Corporation, again relieving P. Uday Kumar from this responsibility.
K. Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Managing Director of HACA, will also take on the role of Managing Director of Telangana Foods, succeeding B. Srinivas Reddy, who has been repatriated to his parent department.
Additionally, Sanchit Gangwar, formerly Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Wanaparthy, has been transferred to serve as Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Narayanpet district.
These changes are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to optimize administrative efficiency and governance in the state.
