New Delhi, June 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk engaged in a diverse conversation during their meeting, which took place as part of Modi’s three-day state visit to the US. In addition to discussing energy-related matters, the two leaders also touched upon the subject of spirituality.
Expressing his appreciation for the meeting, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, “Great meeting you today @elonmusk! We had multifaceted conversations on issues ranging from energy to spirituality.” Musk responded to the tweet, stating, “Great conversation” with Modi.
Musk further shared his sentiments about the meeting on his social media account, posting, “It was an honour to meet again” with Modi in New York.
Following the interaction, Musk expressed his intention to bring his electric vehicle and battery company, Tesla, to India “as soon as it is humanly possible.” He also mentioned his interest in introducing Starlink internet to India, a satellite internet constellation project.
Musk, who recently discussed the meaning of life and his beliefs on the Full Send Podcast, shared his perspective on religion. While stating his general agreement with the teachings of Christianity, he clarified that he is not a religious person and has never been particularly religious. When asked about his belief in God, Musk responded, “Something created the universe, or the universe is here.”
Expressing his excitement for India’s future, Musk conveyed his optimism, considering India to have greater promise than any other large country in the world. He expressed admiration for Prime Minister Modi, describing India as an excellent destination for solar energy investment.
