Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao said that planting saplings today means giving a better future to the coming generations. Minister Harish Rao unveiled the brochure of the 13th Grand Nursery Mela at the Minister’s Quarters on Friday. It has been informed that All India Horticulture and Agriculture Show will start from 26th of this month in Necklace Road People’s Plaza. Horticulture products, fruits, vegetable gardens, fertilizers, organic products, agricultural energy saving technology, agricultural science, education and food industry products will be displayed in this show which will be held for five days, he said. He said that new technology like hydrophonic, terrace gardening and vertical gardening will be displayed in this show. He said that more than 150 nursery stalls are being set up across the country. Plants from Darjeeling, Kolkata, Delhi, Haryana, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Shirdi, Kadiam, Chennai, Telangana and Andhra will be exhibited.
Khalid Ahmed, in-charge of the fair, said that they will be available on Necklace Road from 26th to 30th of this month from 9 am to 10 pm. It has been explained that tissue culture variety date farm from Saudi Arabia will be specially available.
