Hyderabad, October 15: Telangana Congress Chief A. Revanth Reddy has alleged that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) manifesto is a direct copy of the six guarantees previously announced by the Congress party for the upcoming assembly elections in the state.

He pointed out that BRS, which initially deemed the Congress party’s six guarantees as impractical, ended up incorporating the same promises in its own election manifesto. Revanth Reddy called on Chief Minister and BRS President K. Chandrasekhar Rao to clarify how the pledges made by his party, mirroring the Congress party’s promises, are practical.

Revanth Reddy, President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), asserted that BRS simply copied the Congress party’s promises while increasing the monetary amount by Rs. 1,000.

He went on to suggest that KCR was taken aback by the six guarantees announced by the Congress and referred to the BRS manifesto as nothing more than waste paper. Revanth Reddy alleged that KCR is solely focused on profiting from liquor, mining, and land deals and has no time or thought to dedicate to the manifesto, hence the act of copying the Congress guarantees.

Additionally, he claimed that Chief Minister KCR has lost his ability to think critically, and suggested that his “expiry date” has already passed. Revanth Reddy expressed his readiness to take an oath at the Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial on October 17, pledging not to distribute money and liquor during the elections, and challenged KCR to do the same.
