
News Update: BJP Central Election Committee Meeting Commences for Candidate Selection
New Delhi: The BJP Central Election Committee meeting, presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is now in session. The meeting is currently focused on the critical task of selecting candidates for the upcoming elections in Telangana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
Notably, the first list of candidates for Telangana is expected to comprise 60-70 candidates. The BJP has expressed its firm commitment to giving higher priority to candidates from the Backward Classes (BCs) and women as part of its ticket allocation strategy.
