They successfully acquired the services of West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd during the ongoing IPL trading window. Shepherd was previously part of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2023 and has represented Sunrisers Hyderabad in the past.
The talented 24-year-old cricketer from Guyana has made significant contributions in both ODIs and T20Is for the West Indies since his international debut in 2019. In T20Is, Shepherd boasts a batting average of 47.66, scoring 286 runs with a top score of 77 not out. He has also displayed his prowess as a bowler, taking 22 wickets at an average of 34.25, with a best performance of 3/21.
