Hyderabad, November 04

The Congress party is under scrutiny for alleged industry poaching as it campaigns in Telangana while Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shiva Kumar, reportedly urged Foxconn to relocate from Hyderabad to Bengaluru. Dr. Dasoju Sravan, a BRS senior leader, criticized Shiva Kumar’s dual roles of making welfare promises in Telangana while allegedly attempting to poach industries and investments from Hyderabad to Bengaluru. Foxconn, set to invest Rs 4,000 Cr and create over 25,000 jobs in Hyderabad, is at the center of the controversy, and Congress leaders are urged to question Shiva Kumar.

Sravan argued that spineless Congress leaders contributed to past losses in Telangana and warned that if the Congress came to power, the state’s investments, jobs, industries, and resources could be looted by Karnataka leaders. Telangana’s progress under Chief Minister KCR’s governance was emphasized, including the transformation of Hyderabad into a sought-after destination for industries and investors.

The accusations raised questions about the party’s credibility in Telangana and Karnataka’s interests, creating potential complications for the Congress as it campaigns for the upcoming elections.
