News Update: BJP-Jana Sena Alliance Negotiates Seat Allocation for Upcoming Elections

Hyderabad, November 05

In a recent development, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jana Sena have been engaged in discussions regarding seat allocation for the upcoming elections in Telangana. The BJP has agreed to allocate 8 seats to Jana Sena, although Jana Sena initially sought 9 seats. The BJP has now confirmed 6 seats for Jana Sena, which include Kukat Palli, Khammam, Mahbubabad, Wyra, Kothagudam, and Nagar Kurnool.

However, uncertainty surrounds the allocation of the remaining two seats, with one in the Greater Area (Malkajigiri) and the other in Rangareddy district (Tandur).

Notably, the BJP’s national leadership responded favorably to Konda Visveswara Reddy’s ultimatum.

In addition, BJP leaders Kishan Reddy and Laxman held discussions with Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Jana Sena, at his residence on two separate occasions on Sunday. This decision has raised discontent among the BJP cadre in Telangana, who express reservations about engaging with Pawan Kalyan, whom they perceive as a non-existent party leader in the state.

Furthermore, leaders of the National party have been critical of Pawan Kalyan’s absence from meetings with BJP leaders, except for when they visit his house.
