There is no mention of privatization of railways

Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has made it clear that although the Center is ready to develop railway projects in Telangana, the state government is not cooperating properly in the matter of land acquisition and DPR.  He said that the Center could not develop Telangana alone without the cooperation of the state government.  He said there is no question of privatizing the railways.  The Union Minister dismissed Minister KTR’s comments on this.  He said that KTR would not have made such comments if he knew the pace of development work going on in the railways.  The Railway Minister also denied KTR’s allegations that the Center is not cooperating with Telangana.  He said it would be better if KTR spoke after knowing the calculations of the funds given to Telangana in the central budget.  The Railway Minister spoke at a media conference at the BJP state office on Saturday

. The Telangana government has not contacted the Center on the Rayadurgam.. Shamshabad metro rail project. He said that if the state government focuses on infrastructure and development, more funds will come from the centre. However, he said that the Center will allocate huge funds for the development of railways in Telangana. In the common state from 2009 to 2014 Rs. 886 crores if the railway allocation is done… From 2014 till now Rs.4418 crores have been allocated to Telangana Railway Minister said. He explained that the railway projects worth Rs.29581 crores is going on in Telangana. He said that 39 more railway stations in the state are being modernized. He said that Kazipet Railway Coach Factory was included in the biferication Act. For setting up a wagon manufacturing center in the state, the Center will spend Rs.521 crores
He alleged that had been allocated, but for this, 160 acres of land was required, but the state government had given only 150 acres.

Another 20 new MMTS trains will be run in Telangana. These will run between Secunderabad and Medchal.
Telangana has been allotted two centers of excellence.
As Hyderabad is an IT hub, 6G network and railway technology development centers are being set up. Development of Secunderabad Railway Station Rs. 715 crores have been allocated. Metro trains are being developed in 18 cities of the country. Prime Minister Modi said that capital investment is for building a strong nation. He said that if the whole world is going towards inflation, our country is going towards development. If India was at 10th position in 2014… now it has reached 5th position. He said that India will be in the top 3 very soon.
