
Lucknow, November 07:In a heartbreaking incident in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, a young man had to carry the lifeless body of his sister on his back, as the family chose to take her home without a post-mortem. The tragic episode unfolded at a Community Health Center (CHC) where doctors pronounced the young girl, Anjali, dead after she fell unconscious from touching a water heating rod.
Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak swiftly took notice of the situation and made the decision to transfer the medical staff, including the doctor who attended to Anjali. The family’s distressing journey home, with Anjali’s brother Ayush securing her lifeless body on his back using a scarf, played out within the CHC premises and lasted approximately 15 to 20 minutes. This heart-wrenching incident sheds light on the dire need for improved healthcare services in the region.
