
Miss Universe Victoria Kjer Theilwig Visits Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple
Yadagirigutta, March 18, 2025: Miss Universe Victoria Kjer Theilwig described her visit to the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadagirigutta as an “indescribable experience.” The international beauty queen, who is currently touring India, visited the famous pilgrimage site on Tuesday, where she took part in special pujas and explored the temple’s rich history and architectural grandeur.
A Grand Welcome with Temple Traditions
Upon her arrival, Miss Universe Victoria Kjer Theilwig was accorded a traditional welcome by the temple authorities. District Collector Hanumantha Rao presented her with a plant as a token of respect, while Temple Executive Officer (EO) Bhaskar Rao welcomed her in accordance with the temple’s customs. The priests also greeted her with vedic chants and blessings before she proceeded on her spiritual journey inside the temple.

Spiritual Experience at the Sanctum Sanctorum
Accompanied by temple officials, Victoria Theilwig visited the temple’s most sacred shrine—the Swayambhu Narasimha Swamy in the sanctum sanctorum. She performed the Ashtottara Pooja to the ceremonial idols of Lord Narasimha in the Mukha Mantapa, receiving the divine blessings of the temple priests.
The reigning Miss Universe also showed deep curiosity about the temple’s history and significance. She engaged in an insightful conversation with EO Bhaskar Rao, who explained the temple’s unique features, its architectural evolution, and the sacred traditions associated with it.

Exploring the Iconic Temple Complex
Following her prayers, Victoria Theilwig embarked on a tour of the recently renovated Saptagopura complex, marveling at the temple’s intricate black stone architecture. She also walked through the meandering temple streets, taking photographs and soaking in the divine atmosphere.
As part of her spiritual experience, she visited the Vishnu Pushkarini, a sacred water body on the hilltop, using the temple’s battery vehicle. There, she performed the Snanasankalp Pooja in the holy Gundam, an age-old ritual signifying purification. She then offered prayers at the Akhandajyoti, the eternal flame in the northeastern direction of the main temple, and performed a coconut-breaking ritual.
Entering the temple through the grand Eastern Rajagopuram via the Tritala Gopuram, she paid respects at the Kshetrapalaka Anjaneya Swamy shrine before bowing before the golden flag pillar in the Mukha Mantapa.

A Memorable Conclusion
As her visit concluded, the temple priests blessed her in the Mukha Mandapam of the main temple. EO Bhaskar Rao presented her with the sacred Laddu Prasadam, divine relics, and a framed image of Lord Narasimha as a memento of her visit.
Miss Universe Victoria Kjer Theilwig expressed her profound gratitude for the spiritual experience, stating that the darshan of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy had left a lasting impression on her.
Temple officials including Tahsildar Deshyanayak, Deputy EO Bhaskar Sharma, AEOs Gajavelli Raghu and Naveen, and Superintendent Rajan Babu were also present during the event.
