BRS Working President KTR Urges Support for Maganti Gopinath in Jubilee Hills, Takes Swipe at Congress and PM Modi
Hyderabad November 17
Addressing a roadshow in Jubilee Hills, BRS Working President KTR expressed strong views against Jubilee Hills Congress MLA candidate Azhar Uddin, labeling him as a candidate who had lost in Moradabad and lacked familiarity with the Jubilee Hills constituency. KTR acknowledged Azhar’s cricket prowess but urged voters to cast their ballots for BRS candidate Maganti Gopinath in the upcoming elections.
Highlighting the alleged failures of the Congress party, KTR asserted that the people had given the Congress 11 chances, resulting in continuous disappointment. He criticized the Congress for what he perceived as perpetuating poverty among minorities and accused the party of bringing political instability to the state.
KTR reminisced about the challenges faced during Congress governance, citing power shortages and water crises. He contrasted this with the improvements witnessed after the formation of Telangana and Chief Minister KCR’s leadership.
Taking a dig at PM Modi, KTR ridiculed the unfulfilled promises of job creation and the deposit of Rs. 15 lakh into Jan Dhan accounts. He emphasized that the BRS party, under CM KCR’s leadership, stood firm and would not yield to the influence of Delhi leaders, pledging to engage in secular politics.
KTR outlined the achievements of the BRS government, citing the provision of 20,000 liters of free drinking water to domestic consumers in Hyderabad and the absence of power cuts. He highlighted promises for the future, including the provision of gas cylinders at Rs. 400, an increase in Asara pension money to Rs. 5000, and life insurance coverage of Rs. 5 lakhs for over 93 lakhs BPL families.
In conclusion, KTR appealed to the electorate to vote for the BRS party in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of electing a capable government for the growth and development of Hyderabad and Telangana.
