Andhra Pradesh Government Defends Actions on Nagarjuna Sagar Dam Issue
In response to recent controversies, AP Irrigation Minister affirmed, “We’ve utilized water rightfully belonging to us, as per the 66% share of Krishna water allocated to Andhra Pradesh.”
Addressing misinformation, Ambati Rambabu clarified, “No treaty violation occurred; 66% of Krishna water is AP’s, and we’ve not used a drop beyond our entitlement. Our efforts aimed to channel water within our territory for the welfare of our farmers.”
Asserting the YSRCP government’s position, Rambabu emphasized, “We’ve endeavored to fulfill our state’s needs from the 66% share rightfully ours, prioritizing the welfare of our people.”
