Hyderabad, Dec 1: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has scheduled a State Cabinet meeting for December 4. Presiding over the meeting at 2 p.m., the Chief Minister will convene discussions at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat, a day after the counting of votes from the Assembly elections held on November 30.
Despite exit polls favoring the Congress, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (TRS) expresses confidence in retaining power. K.T. Rama Rao, the working president of TRS, dismissed the exit polls as ‘nonsense’ and ‘rubbish,’ asserting the belief that TRS will secure over 70 seats in the 119-member Assembly, reaffirming their position to form the government once again.
