CM Revanth Reddy Criticizes BRS Working President KTR in Assembly Session

In a fiery address during today’s assembly session, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed strong disapproval of BRS Working President KTR’s comments on feeling ashamed after the Governor’s speech. Reddy retorted, stating that KTR should, in fact, be ashamed of his forthcoming statements.

Taking the floor, Reddy directed scathing remarks towards Mirakumar, former speaker of Lok Sabha, who played a crucial role in the formation of Telangana state. He criticized Mirakumar for suggesting that police be deployed to deter her from visiting families who lost members to suicide for the state’s cause.

Reddy didn’t hold back in condemning the previous government, accusing it of unjustly arresting farmers in Khammam who protested for remunerative prices. He particularly emphasized the shameful treatment of farmers, being paraded to court inhumanely while wearing bedis.

Further, Reddy criticized the government for the improper correction of twelfth-class question papers, leading to the tragic deaths of children. He pointed out the outsourcing of the correction process to private individuals, holding the government accountable for the consequences.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the alleged irregularities in the conduct of 10th class exams, the unauthorized sale of xerox copies of TSPSC exams, and the distressing plight of 30 lakh unemployed individuals. Reddy called for accountability and urged a thorough examination of these issues for the betterment of the state.
