In a grand celebration at Hyderabad’s Rabindra Bharati, the Telangana Development Forum (TDF) marked its 7th ‘Pravasi Telangana Diwas’, affirming its pivotal role in the state’s progress. Professor Kodandaram and former MP Konda Visveshwar Reddy, chief guests at the event, lauded TDF’s relentless efforts for Telangana’s development.
Professor Kodandaram acknowledged TDF’s historical role in the Telangana movement and emphasized its newfound significance in the state’s development. He urged addressing concerns regarding the NRI policy, a matter overlooked by the previous government.
Former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy praised TDF’s contributions to rural Telangana and advocated for enhanced skill development among the youth. Recognizing TDF’s commitment, he encouraged maintaining ties with one’s roots, even abroad.
Sandhya, President of Progressive Women’s Association, commended TDF’s initiatives in agriculture and health, highlighting their collaborative approach with the people of Telangana.
Divesh Anireddy, TDF President, affirmed their non-political stance and commitment to working with every government, providing essential services in education, healthcare, employment, and agriculture. MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy echoed the sentiment, acknowledging TDF’s indispensable role in Telangana’s development.
Former TDF President Kavitha Challa, currently overseas, expressed a deep connection to Telangana’s heartbeat, emphasizing TDF’s ongoing commitment to multifaceted projects spanning natural farming, healthcare, education, arts, culture, and water resource utilization.
The TDF USA-India team actively participated in the event, reinforcing the organization’s global outreach. Notable attendees included TDF USA President Dr. Divesh Anireddy, Past President Kavitha Challa, TDF India Chairman Ranadhir Badam, and other key figures contributing to Telangana’s progress. The event showcased TDF’s dedication to collaborative, holistic development irrespective of political affiliations.
