Students showcased their talents
Hyderabad, February 17
The colors of spring splashed across the campus as energies of youth power reached a crescendo as students of GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad organized a three-day ‘Techno-Management-Cultural Fest’ in the name of ‘Pramana-2023’ at its Hyderabad Campus on February 15th and 17th, 2023. A variety of events lined up that tested students’ talents and skills in various fields. The fest consisted of several technical, management, and cultural events.
The Chief Guest Prof. V.Gunasekhar Reddy, President, IETE & Former DIG of Police, Government of Andhra Pradesh formally inaugurated the students’ fest. He motivated the students towards overall development and to grow stronger and become better.
Some of the techno and management events included- Treasure Hunt, Battle of Bands, Tokyo town anime meet up, Carnival, Music, Dance workshop, Art Attack, Ideathon, Hackathon, Youth Parliament, One-day Entrepreneur, Auto expo, Band Night, Meet & Greet, etc. organized during the three-day fest. In addition to the events- Workshops, Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Short films competitions, the Cultural events like Singing, Ramp walk, Dance, etc. Many students showcased their hidden talents on this platform. The fest ended with Lost Stories and Teri Miko EDM / DJ Night (Electronic Dance Music Night) where everyone became one with music and take off to a new dimension. Pramana offered platform to other college students in competitive formal and informal events for undergraduate and postgraduate students across Greater Hyderabad.
Prof. D.S.Rao, Pro VC; DVVSR Varma, Resident Director; Dr. P.Trinadha Rao, Fest Chairman, faculty monitored the fest and provided the guidance to the students for successful completion of the fest.
