Revanth Reddy reiterated the state government’s resolute commitment to fostering industrial development. The occasion saw a significant encounter between Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and a high-profile delegation from Foxconn, spearheaded by Wee Lee, the representative of Foxconn’s Han Hi Precision Industries.


Accompanying Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in this crucial discussion were State IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, as well as other distinguished senior officers, including C.S. Shanti Kumari.

“Telangana’s CM Boosts Electronics Industry with Foxconn Partnership”
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced a strategic push for Telangana’s electronics industry in a recent speech. Emphasizing support for the Kongara Kalan manufacturing center, the Chief Minister pledged to accelerate development and facilitate future projects by Foxconn. The Foxconn Group, renowned for manufacturing Apple iPhones, solidified its commitment to the region with a December 2023 agreement with the Telangana Government. Operating globally in 24 countries, including India, Foxconn has existing facilities in Sricity, Sriperumbudur, Kongarakalan, and Karnataka. The company’s Memorandum of Understanding with Telangana outlines plans to generate 100,000 jobs, with an initial phase targeting 25,000 jobs over the next two years. Foxconn’s diverse clientele comprises tech giants like Google, Xiaomi, Amazon, HUAWEI, Alibaba Group, CISCO, Dell, Facebook, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, SEGA, and Nokia. This collaboration signals a significant stride in bolstering electronic manufacturing and employment opportunities in Telangana.
