In Telangana, a total of 55 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported, with the highest concentration in Hyderabad district at 45. Other districts affected include Rangareddy (3), Sangareddy (2), Khammam (1), Karimnagar (1), Warangal (2), and Medak (1).
Within Hyderabad, 5 positive cases are identified in the Fever Hospital, 4 in Chest Hospital, 2 in Nilofer, and 10 in Osmania Hospital. Among the Osmania Hospital cases, 8 are in home isolation, one is admitted and receiving treatment, and sadly, one patient has succumbed to the virus. Additionally, two PG doctors have tested positive and are in home isolation.
Tragically, two COVID-19 positive patients in Osmania Hospital have passed away while undergoing treatment for other health issues. The deceased were 60 and 42 years old. Three more individuals are currently receiving treatment in the isolation ward, with doctors reporting that their health condition is stable. Furthermore, two PG medics have tested positive and are currently in home isolation.
