In a divine gesture, a colossal 108-feet long incense stick is making its way from Vadodara, Gujarat, to Ayodhya, with the purpose of filling the Shri Ram temple with a celestial fragrance.

This extraordinary incense stick reached Fatehpur Sikri and Kiravali in Agra on Monday, drawing hundreds of people to the highway who, upon witnessing the majestic creation, erupted into chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram.’

What began as a journey from Vadodara has transformed into a grand procession, attracting a large gathering eager to witness the 108-feet-long and approximately three-and-a-half-feet-wide incense stick, weighing an impressive 3,610 kg.

Crafted over six months in Vadodara, the special incense stick incorporates a blend of various herbs, contributing to its unique composition. This divine offering is expected to remain lit for about one-and-a-half months, diffusing its fragrant aura across an expansive area of approximately 50 km.

Bihabharbad, a resident of Gujarat and an incense stick manufacturer, shared that the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya is scheduled for January 22, and this colossal incense stick stands as his reverential offering for the auspicious occasion. The preparation of this special incense stick includes the use of diverse herbs, desi cow dung, desi cow ghee, and traditional incense ingredients.
