Perika Suresh Gains Momentum as BJP’s Top Pick for Nalgonda Seat
Hyderabad, January 18 – As Telangana gears up for the upcoming parliamentary elections, the Nalgonda constituency takes center stage with a demand from voters for Perika Suresh, a prominent social worker and media member of the National OBC Morcha, to be declared as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) candidate.
With 15 lakh voters in the Nalgonda parliamentary constituency, the BJP faces a strong call to nominate Perika Suresh, particularly due to the significant presence of 54 percent Backward Class (BC) community voters. The constituency also boasts 1 lakh and 20 thousand voters from the economically prosperous Perika community, making it a crucial factor in influencing the parliamentary elections.

Perika Suresh holds a special influence over all seven assembly seats in the Nalgonda Parliament, heightening the possibility of a victory for the BJP if he becomes their candidate. Suresh, who is currently leading a foot march in his constituency to celebrate the consecration of Lord Ram’s temple in Ayodhya, is actively spreading the message of lighting lamps and bringing joy to every household.
On January 22, coinciding with the Pran Pratistha ceremony, Perika Suresh plans to facilitate the pilgrimage of Kar Sevaks and Ram devotees who played a pivotal role in the construction of Lord Ram’s temple. This initiative is part of the Ayodhya Shri Ram Mandir Darshan Campaign, reflecting Suresh’s commitment to achieving his goals.
Being a member of the BC community, Perika Suresh aligns with the BJP’s vision, which had earlier expressed its intent to make a BC community member the Chief Minister during the assembly elections. This strategy had a significant impact on the assembly polls, and nominating Suresh for the Nalgonda Parliament could further strengthen the BJP’s chances of winning the seat.
While Congress and BRS may divide the same vote bank, the BJP, with its distinct vote bank and the inclusion of influential social workers like Perika Suresh, is poised to alter the political equation in the region.
