
Telangana Breaks Investment Records at World Economic Forum
Telangana has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the primary investment destination in the country, garnering global attention during the three-day World Economic Forum conference in Davos. The state witnessed an unprecedented surge in investments, marking a significant accomplishment since its formation.


Leading companies worldwide have expressed keen interest in making substantial investments in Telangana, resulting in agreements totaling around Rs.40 thousand crores. This noteworthy achievement represents a substantial increase compared to previous years, with investments soaring from Rs.500 crores in 2020 to Rs.4200 crores in 2022, and a remarkable Rs.21,000 crores in 2023.
In a groundbreaking development, within just two months of the new government’s formation, Telangana has attracted twice the amount of investments received over the same period in the past. This influx of funds, totaling about Rs.40 thousand crores, is expected to generate over 35 thousand job opportunities in the state.



Renowned corporations such as Tata Group, Adani, Jindal, Godi India, Web Works, Aragen Life Sciences, Godrej India, Surgical Instruments Group Holdings, Uber, Q Centrio, and O9 Solutions have enthusiastically committed to establishing and expanding their projects across various sectors in Telangana. This surge in investments solidifies Telangana’s position as a thriving hub for economic growth and development.
