
Police Constable Thota Nagamutyam Heroically Saves a Life with CPR

In a testament to the humanity within the police force, Constable Thota Nagamutyam from Pakalagudem village, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Ashwaraopeta mandal, emerged as a hero on duty. While patrolling the Medaram Sammakka Sarakka fair on a fateful Monday, he swiftly responded to a man collapsing due to a heart attack.
The incident unfolded as a family walked through the fair, and Nagamutyam, passing by during a routine raid, took immediate action. Demonstrating remarkable composure, he performed CPR on the individual, ultimately saving his life. The victim, who had lost consciousness due to the heart attack, regained stability following Nagamutyam’s timely intervention.
Constable Thota Nagamutyam, currently stationed at Dammapet police station, exemplified the commitment of police officers to both their duty and the well-being of the community. The man’s health has since improved, thanks to the quick and compassionate response of Constable Nagamutyam.
