“In honor of World Cancer Day, Expo Galaxia continues its unwavering commitment to raising awareness and championing health initiatives. Having organized impactful Walkathons for the past two years, the recent edition, ‘The Good Act 2024,’ took place at Hitex Exhibition Centre this Sunday morning.

Bringing together 200 participants, including IT employees from multinational companies and members of diplomatic clubs, the Walkathon not only celebrated the spirit of ‘The Good Act’ but also emphasized the critical importance of early detection, prevention, and support for those affected by cancer.

Against the backdrop of a sunrise at Hitex Exhibition Centre, participants walked with a sense of purpose, cherishing moments that echoed Expo Galaxia’s dedication to making a positive impact. The event served as a poignant reminder of the ongoing battle against cancer and the collective responsibility to foster awareness.

Expo Galaxia’s enduring commitment to such events underscores their belief in contributing to the global fight against cancer. Initiatives like ‘The Good Act’ Walkathon inspire communities to unite, raise awareness, and create lasting memories in the face of adversity.

Acknowledging key supporters, Expo Galaxia expresses gratitude to The Diplomatic Club, TFMC (Telangana Facility Management Council), Dr. Chinnam Reddy, Bengalis in Hyderabad, Raman from Vodafone, and the World Telugu IT Council for their valuable support. This marks the second edition of the event, reaffirming Expo Galaxia’s dedication to making a positive impact in the fight against cancer.

Drawing attention to the imperative need for a cancer vaccine and the eradication of the epidemic. Notable participants included esteemed doctors Dr. Chinna Reddy and Dr. Usha, alongside professionals from various multinational corporations in the IT and telecom sectors, representatives from voluntary organizations, and Anchor Leena Ponnada.

Dr. Chinna Reddy and Dr. Usha, representing the Telangana Felicity Management Council, highlighted the crucial role of early cancer detection. They stressed the necessity for a global initiative to combat and ultimately eradicate cancer.
