Tamil Superstar Vijay Expresses Gratitude for Support Following Political Entry
Chennai, Feb 4: Tamil superstar Vijay, also known as ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay, extended his gratitude to well-wishers for their support following his entry into politics with the launch of his political outfit, Thamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam.
Several prominent leaders, including MDMK Chief Vaiko, Tamil Nadu Minister Udayanidhi Stalin, BJP State President K. Annamalai, and senior members of the AIADMK, have welcomed Vijay’s foray into politics.
Vijay, in a statement, reiterated his party’s commitment to combating corruption and striving for the upliftment of the marginalized sections of society. He emphasized that his party would remain neutral and not align with any other political entities during the forthcoming 2024 general elections.
Furthermore, Vijay clarified that his party’s primary focus would be on the 2026 state legislative assembly elections.
