Paytm CEO Meets Finance Minister to Address Ongoing Challenges

New Delhi February 07

In a bid to tackle the current hurdles faced by Paytm, its CEO, Vijay Shekhar, engaged in discussions with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday, sources report.

A spokesperson for Paytm highlighted the company’s efforts over the past two years, emphasizing collaborations with multiple leading third-party banks. They reassured stakeholders that despite any operational transitions, services such as Paytm QR codes, Soundbox, and card machines would remain unaffected.

The company underscored its commitment to compliance with regulatory directives while continuing to offer secure and innovative digital payment solutions across India. Despite recent speculations, Paytm clarified that neither the company nor its CEO is under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate for money laundering activities.

Paytm remains focused on fostering transparency and safeguarding its reputation amidst ongoing regulatory scrutiny, urging stakeholders to refer to official statements for accurate information.
