Congress Maintains Lead in Telangana Lok Sabha Elections, Reveals People’s Pulse – SouthFirst Survey
Hyderabad February 20
In a recent tracker poll survey conducted by People’s Pulse – SouthFirst organizations, the Congress party continues to hold its ground in the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana. According to the survey results, Congress is projected to win 8-10 seats, with BRS following closely with 35 seats, and BJP securing 2-4 seats, with a possibility of winning parliament seats.
The survey, conducted from 11th February to 17th February, sampled 4600 individuals across 3 assembly segments in each parliamentary constituency. Results indicate that the Congress party maintains a strong support base, garnering 40 percent of the vote share, while BRS follows with 31 percent, BJP with 23 percent, and others with 6 percent.
Comparing the current survey findings to the assembly elections held in November, the Congress party has seen a marginal increase of 1 percent in votes, while BJP has gained 9 percent, and the main opposition BRS party has experienced a decline of 6 percent.

Furthermore, the survey highlights that the Congress party enjoys greater support among women voters, indicating a significant demographic preference.
The People’s Pulse – SouthFirst survey sheds light on the evolving political landscape in Telangana, suggesting a continued stronghold for the Congress party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
If BJP gains 9 per cent vote share, howcould it be reduced to 2-4? There seems no logic.
