Winners Announced for the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024
The prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards for 2024 have been unveiled, honoring excellence in the world of cinema and television. Among the distinguished recipients, Shah Rukh Khan clinched the Best Actor award for his captivating portrayal in “Jawan,” while Sandeep Reddy Vanga was recognized as Best Director for his work on “Animal.” Nayanthara was celebrated as the Best Actress for her remarkable performance in “Jawan.”
Vicky Kaushal earned acclaim from critics, securing the Best Actor (Critics) award for his role in “Sam Bahadur,” while Bobby Deol’s compelling negative portrayal in “Animal” earned him the Best Actor in Negative Role accolade. Anirudh Ravichander’s musical brilliance in “Jawan” was acknowledged with the Best Music Director title, and Varun Jain’s soulful rendition in “Tere Vaste” from “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke” earned him the Best Playback Singer (Male) award.
In the television sphere, Rupali Ganguly was honored as the Best Actress in a Television Series for her performance in “Anupamaa,” and Neil Bhatt was celebrated as the Best Actor in a Television Series. The captivating drama “Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin” was crowned Television Series of the Year.
Karishma Tanna’s stellar portrayal in “Scoop” earned her the Best Actress in a Web Series award. Additionally, Moushumi Chatterjee was recognized for her Outstanding Contribution to the Film Industry, while KJ Yesudas was lauded for his Outstanding Contribution to the Music Industry.
