Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently met filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma during his visit to Hyderabad for what he described as his “last day at work”. The duo engaged in a deep conversation touching on topics ranging from films to content and artificial intelligence (AI).
Taking to his blog, Bachchan shared his experience, stating, “On my final day of work in the enchanting city of Hyderabad, I had the pleasure of being visited by the esteemed genius and his enigmatic thoughts—Ram Gopal Varma, also known as Ramu.”
He continued, “We engaged in a continuous and invigorating conversation about film content and the rapidly evolving realm of AI. The direction in which we are heading remains a mystery, subject to constant change and evolution.”
Bachchan pondered over the uncertainty prevalent in today’s world, where facts are often questioned and truth is elusive. He reflected on the nature of information dissemination, questioning whether it truly informs or merely exists for the sake of content.
The veteran actor and Varma share a longstanding friendship and have collaborated on several projects, including the ‘Sarkar’ franchise and ‘Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag’.
Bachchan’s upcoming project, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, boasts an impressive cast featuring Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone.
