HYDERABAD, FEBRUARY24
Telangana’s Minister KTR inaugurated the 20th BioAsia-2023 conference at HICC and expressed his confidence in Hyderabad becoming a world health-tech hub. The city is already home to life sciences, pharma, and health care sectors, with Genome Valley and Med Tech Park as advanced facilities and infrastructure. Four of the world’s top-10 pharma companies are operating in Telangana, and it’s been revealed that the world’s largest pharma city will soon be established in the city. Minister KTR expressed his goal to increase the value of the state’s life sciences ecosystem to $250 billion by 2030. One-third of the world’s vaccines are being produced in Telangana, and 40% of domestic pharmaceutical products are coming from the state. The conference will be held for three days from February 24 to 26, and KTR hopes it will open many opportunities for companies and representatives participating in the event.
