The announcement came through a press note issued on March 16, 2024, marking the beginning of the election fervor in the respective regions. Following this, the Gazette Notification is slated for release on April 18, 2024, officially initiating the nomination process.

Candidates aspiring to contest in this phase have until April 25, 2024, to submit their nominations. The scrutiny of these nominations will take place promptly on April 26, 2024, ensuring adherence to the electoral guidelines.

Moreover, April 29, 2024, serves as the deadline for the withdrawal of candidatures, providing candidates with an opportunity to reconsider their participation in the electoral race.

On May 13, 2024, voters will exercise their democratic rights as they head to the polling booths to cast their votes. Subsequently, the long-awaited day of reckoning arrives on June 4, 2024, when the counting of votes will determine the fate of the contesting candidates.

The Election Commission has set a deadline of June 6, 2024, for the completion of the entire election process, underscoring the significance of timely execution and adherence to the electoral timeline.

As the nation braces itself for yet another democratic exercise, all eyes are on Phase 4, where pivotal decisions will shape the political landscape for years to come.”
