On March 24, 2024, the grand finale of the annual Theppotsavam of Srivari in Tirumala concluded in a spectacular manner, marking the culmination of five days of devout celebrations. The sacred event drew devotees from far and wide, eager to partake in the divine festivities.
The highlight of the concluding day was the enchanting procession featuring Malayappaswamy, the presiding deity, accompanied by the divine consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi. They graced the occasion by embarking on a serene raft ride, much to the delight of the gathered devotees, who witnessed this divine spectacle with reverence and awe.


The ceremonial idols of Swami and Ammavar were reverently paraded through the four Mada Veedhus of Srivari before being ceremoniously brought to Srivari Pushkarini. As the evening descended, at 7 o’clock, Malayappaswamy, accompanied by Lord Sribhu, gracefully glided along the Pushkarini waters on a beautifully adorned raft, illuminated by a myriad of electric lamps. The scene was a breathtaking sight, as the divine presence radiated serenity and blessings, filling the hearts of the devotees with joy and spiritual fulfillment.


The Teppotsavam was not just a visual extravaganza but also a spiritual experience enriched by the melodious tunes of musical instruments, the resonating Vedic chants by learned scholars, and the soul-stirring Sankirtans by the talented Annamacharya project artists.
Among the esteemed dignitaries gracing the occasion were Tirumala Chinnajeyar Swamy, EO AV Dharma Reddy, SE-2 Jagadeeswar Reddy, and other officials, whose presence added to the sanctity and grandeur of the event, infusing it with divine blessings and significance. The collective participation of devotees, officials, and spiritual leaders made the grand finale of the Theppotsavam a truly memorable and spiritually enriching experience for all involved.
