Hyderabad, February 25 The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has announced the results of the 2022-23 Students’ Union elections after a day-long process of vote counting on February 24, 2023. The highly competitive elections saw a turnout of more than 76% of the over 5,300 eligible student voters.
The newly elected office bearers for the Students’ Union are Prajwal, who secured 1838 votes for the President’s post, Pruthvi Sai, who secured 1860 votes for the Vice-President’s post, Kripa Maria George, who secured 2076 votes for the General Secretary’s post, Kathi Ganesh, who secured 1678 votes for the Joint Secretary post, Likhith Kumar, who secured 1789 votes for the Cultural Secretary post, and CH Jayaraj, who secured 1644 votes for the Sports Secretary post.
In addition, Shipha Minz won the ICC (GS-Cash) Integrated position with 351 votes, Hritik Laxman Lalan won the ICC (GS-Cash) PG position with 987 votes, and Subashini S.S won the ICC (GS-CASH) Research position with 468 votes.
The UoH administration congratulated the newly elected office bearers and expressed hope that they would serve the student community with dedication and commitment.
