The political landscape in Telangana is abuzz with the contentious issue of phone tapping, with Congress leaders taking aim at KTR, the working president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). In response to these allegations, KTR has launched a staunch counterattack, vowing to pursue defamation lawsuits against those who have propagated what he deems as baseless accusations.
“Two Congress leaders and a minister who have tarnished my reputation will be sent legal notices. They must apologize to me for their baseless and shameful accusations or be prepared to face legal actions. I will also send legal notices to news outlets that publish news without verifying the facts,” KTR asserted in a tweet.
Though KTR refrained from explicitly naming the minister, speculations have arisen regarding Konda Surekha’s involvement. Alongside his tweet, KTR shared a story from an English newspaper, further intensifying the controversy.
The unfolding saga has captured significant attention, drawing scrutiny from various quarters as the political showdown escalates. With KTR’s uncompromising stance and threats of legal recourse, the saga is poised to deepen, casting shadows over the state’s political landscape.
