As scorching temperatures grip Telangana, the Meteorological Department offers a glimmer of hope with the prediction of rain across various districts over the next three days. While areas like Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, and Nizamabad anticipate thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds starting tomorrow, Jagtial, Karimnagar, and Peddapalli districts are on yellow alert for the day after.
However, the outlook for Hyderabad appears dry, disappointing city residents.
Additionally, the Hyderabad Meteorological Department issues warnings of potential dust storms within the next two days, coupled with a projected rise in temperatures by two to three degrees. Notably, the state recently recorded its highest temperature at 43 degrees Celsius.
With concerns mounting, the department advises against outdoor activities between 11 AM and 4:30 PM, especially as dust storms are forecasted for several districts today. Ibrahimpet in Nalgonda district reported the highest temperature of 43.5 degrees Celsius yesterday.
The escalating heat has led to an increase in cases of Acute Diarrheal Diseases (ADD) and dehydration, prompting medical professionals to recommend coconut water and Oral Rehydration Solutions (ORS) for affected children, along with sheltering them from the sun’s harsh rays.
