A devastating incident unfolded at a construction site in Chandanagar, Hyderabad, as a worker tragically lost his life after falling from the 30th floor to the 11th floor. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon at the KLC construction company, sparking concerns among workers regarding safety precautions.
The deceased, identified as Khairulmiya from Bengal, had arrived in Hyderabad just fifteen days ago with his family to work as a construction worker for KLC Company. While working on the construction of a large building in Lingampally, Khairul Mia met with the fatal accident.
Fellow workers and police reports indicate that Khairul Mia accidentally fell from the 30th floor, succumbing to severe injuries upon impact on the 11th floor. Angered by the lack of safety measures, fellow workers staged protests outside the construction company’s office, resulting in damage to office furniture.
Upon receiving the complaint from the deceased’s uncle, the police registered a case against the KLC company. Workers demand support for the deceased worker’s family and emphasize the need for enhanced safety measures at construction sites to prevent such tragedies in the future.
