Kaushambi, India, May 12: Union Home Minister Amit Shah reaffirmed India’s stance on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), stating that it is an integral part of India and will be reclaimed.

Speaking at a rally in Kaushambi on Sunday, Shah criticized the Congress, asserting, “The Congress wants us to respect Pakistan, but PoK is a part of India, and we will take it back. The Congress treated Kashmir like an illegitimate child for years, but we abolished Article 370, curbed terrorism, and secured our borders. Even a child would willingly sacrifice for Kashmir.”

Shah lambasted the Congress and SP for vote bank politics, alleging that they delayed the construction of the Ram temple for 70 years. “We invited them for the temple’s inauguration, but they refused due to their vote bank politics. It was their vote bank that destroyed the Kashi Vishwanath temple, and PM Modi reconstructed it,” he remarked.

Addressing the audience, Shah questioned the potential Prime Minister under the “INDIA bloc” and criticized opposition leaders, including Sharad Pawar, Mamata Banerjee, Uddhav Thackeray, and Rahul Gandhi. He highlighted PM Modi’s leadership during the pandemic, emphasizing the vaccination drive’s success. Shah also mentioned Akhilesh Yadav’s initial skepticism towards vaccines, contrasting it with his eventual vaccination.

Shah praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for cracking down on the land mafia in Uttar Pradesh, claiming that his administration expelled them from the state.

Additionally, Shah noted the Congress’s historical disregard for Dr. B. R. Ambedkar but commended PM Modi’s efforts to renovate sites associated with the revered figure.

The rally underscored the BJP’s focus on national security, development, and countering opposition alliances ahead of elections.
