Film actress Kangana Ranaut, who has been nominated as a BJP candidate from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Lok Sabha constituency, has revealed her assets in an election affidavit. According to the affidavit, Ranaut’s assets amount to Rs. 91 crores, comprising Rs. 62.92 crores in immovable properties and Rs. 28.73 crores in movable assets.
The disclosure includes Rs. 2 lakhs in cash and a bank balance of Rs. 1.35 crores. Ranaut owns properties in Mumbai, Punjab, and Manali. Additionally, she has paid Rs. 4 crores and 12 lakhs as income tax for the financial year 2022-23.
Ranaut also stated ownership of three luxury cars, including a BMW 7 series. Her movable assets include 6.70 kg of gold valued at Rs. 5 crore, 60 kg of silver valued at Rs. 5 lakh, and 14 carat diamonds valued at Rs. 3 crore. Furthermore, she holds 50 LIC policies.
This disclosure comes amidst her political foray, as Ranaut seeks election from Mandi constituency. As the election season progresses, her affidavit provides insights into her financial status and assets.
