
Father’s Pride as Daughter Visits Telangana State Police Academy as IAS Trainee
Hyderabad, June 15, 2024: Emotional scenes unfolded at the Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA) on Saturday, as a father received his daughter, who was visiting the academy as a trainee IAS officer. N. Uma Harathi, a probationary IAS officer from Vikarabad, visited the TSPA as part of her training program.
The heartwarming moment was captured when Venkateshwarlu, Deputy Director at TSPA, presented a bouquet to his daughter and saluted her. This proud father-daughter interaction highlighted the significance of the occasion.

The probationary IAS officers are currently undergoing training at the MCR HRD Institute from May 20 to June 30, 2024. Under the instructions of MCR HRD IT Director General, Dr. Shashank Goel, IAS, a team of seven IAS probationers was taken to the Command Control Room, Secretariat, and TSPA.
At the Command Control Room, the trainee IAS officers learned about the installation and functioning of CCTV cameras and other operational aspects. During their visit to the Secretariat, they met with senior officials from the Revenue Department, who briefed them on land records and other relevant topics.
Upon arriving at TSPA, the IAS probationers from the 2023 batch were welcomed by D. Muralidhar, Joint Director; N. Venkateshwarlu, Deputy Director; C. Narmada, Deputy Director; and other senior officers. Venkateshwarlu took the opportunity to wish his daughter Uma Harathi, presenting her with a bouquet. The duo, both smiling, continued with the training program.
During their visit, the trainee IAS officers were given a presentation on their roles, training methodology, and various other aspects. The coordination for the IAS officers’ visit was managed by Dr. Shreenivas Peddaboina, MCR HRD IT Nodal Officer.
The visit to TSPA was a significant part of the training program, offering the probationers a comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities that lie ahead in their careers.
