Mogulla Buchibabu, an NRI originally from Ayodhya village in Mahabubabad district, Telangana, extended a warm welcome to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during his recent visit to the United States. Buchibabu conveyed that the NRI community will continue to support the development initiatives of Telangana and wished for the success of the investment ventures being pursued by the state government.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu, engaged in discussions with several investment companies during their visit. These discussions have led to a promising interest from these companies in expanding IT services into tier-2 cities of Telangana. This initiative is in line with Chief Minister Reddy’s vision of promoting balanced regional development and reducing the concentration of industries and services in Hyderabad alone.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is committed to creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive in tier-2 cities such as Warangal, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad. This includes improving infrastructure, providing necessary incentives, and ensuring a skilled workforce. The government’s efforts are aimed at not only decongesting Hyderabad but also providing more job opportunities and economic growth in other parts of the state.
Mogulla Buchibabu highlighted the enthusiasm of the NRI community to contribute to these efforts. “The cooperation of NRIs will always be there for the development of Telangana. We sincerely wish for the success of the investments you are making,” he said. His statement reflects the strong connection and commitment that the diaspora has towards their home state.
The new IT centers expected to be established in tier-2 cities will significantly enhance Telangana’s reputation as a leading hub for technology and innovation. This expansion is anticipated to attract more global companies to consider Telangana as a favorable destination for their operations, further boosting the state’s economic growth and providing a sustainable model for regional development.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his gratitude for the support from the NRI community and reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive growth. “We are dedicated to ensuring that the benefits of development reach every corner of Telangana. With the support of our NRIs and the initiatives we are undertaking, I am confident that we will achieve our goals,” he said.
This strategic move to expand IT services into tier-2 cities is expected to play a crucial role in transforming Telangana into a technology-driven economy with equitable growth across the state.
